Enderby break-ins investigated

Business and home broken into just a couple of days apart

Enderby RCMP are investigating break-ins to a home and business a couple of days apart.

On Sunday, police responded to an alarm at the Enderby Inn and Beer Store on Cliff Avenue.

“An unknown person forced entry into the business through a window,” said RCMP Const. Jocelyn Noseworthy.

Two bottles of Fireball whiskey were taken.

Two days earlier, on Friday the 13th, police were alerted to a break-in at a home in the 100 block of George Street.

The home had been broken into between noon and 7:30 p.m.

Ten Blueray discs, a silver chain, a watch and undisclosed amount of cash were stolen from the home.

Anybody with any information on either crime is asked to call the Vernon-North Okanagan RCMP detachment at 250-545-7171, or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
