More public art is taking shape in downtown Enderby.
City council has given the green light to the Enderby Arts Council installing a new sculpture in Belvidere Park next to the Shuswap River.
“It will be really nice,” said Coun. Beryl Ludwig.
The sculpture will portray people involved in a log rolling contest as a way of paying tribute to the logging industry and the river’s role in Enderby’s development.
This will be the second piece of public art initiated by the arts council.
“People really like the salmon sculpture at city hall and they’ll like this one too,” said Ludwig.
