Mission Public Schools will have a better idea of current enrolment later this week, according to the superintendent.
Frank Dunham said the first day of school went well, and numbers will firm up by Friday.
This is also the first year of the middle school model implementation in the district, which sees all Grade 7 students now attending one of the three Mission secondary schools. The Grade 7s have their own section of each school, but it is inevitable there will be some overlap. A vice-principal has been assigned to the middle schools at each site, he said.
