Environment Canada issues thunderstorm watch for Quesnel

A chance of thundershowers is forcasted to last until Tuesday

A severe thunderstorm watch is in effect for Quesnel. The watch was issued by Environment Canada at 9:22 a.m.

The Environment Canada forecast calls for a 60 per cent chance of thunder showers until Tuesday, June 15.

“Persons in or near this area should be on the lookout for adverse weather conditions and take necessary safety precautions,” the Environment Canada alert reads.

The forecast adds there is a risk of hail as well.
