Excavator stolen from equipment sales firm

Crime Stoppers is looking for information about an excavator stolen from Pacific Rim Equipment last month.

Penticton RCMP are asking for the public's assistance in locating a Yanmar excavator similar to this one which has been missing since mid May when it was taken overnight from the grounds at Pacific Rim Equipment. Also stolen was the bucket attachment (not pictured).

Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s help in finding information about the theft of a yellow and black Yanmar Excavator with a bucket attachment.

The machine is believed to have gone missing on the night or early-morning of May 11/12 from the Pacific Rim Equipment yard on Dartmouth Road.

It is valued at several thousand dollars.

Anyone seeing a similar piece of equipment on any job sites etc. is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or  HYPERLINK “http://www.sostips.ca” www.sostips.ca for other ways of passing along anonymous information on this or any other crime.  Should the information lead to an arrest, the person supplying it may qualify for a cash reward of up to $2,000.

Crime Stoppers is not a police program and does not subscribe to call display.  The caller’s identity will not be known and they will not have to testify in court.
