Fielding close to a hundred invitations to speak each year, celebrity Dr. Art Hister is excited to be returning to Langley again next week to chat with seniors.
“The reason I come to Langley is easy: the crowds have always been very enthusiastic; they make me fell as good as I hope I make them feel,” Hister told the Langley Advance.
“I’ll speak – as I always do to seniors – about what they can still do to make sure they live as long, as well, and as happy as they can,” said the full-time media doctor currently offering his daily health analysis on TV and radio.
Hister is one of the presenters at this year’s 60+ Lifestyle Expo happening at the new Timms Community Centre on Thursday, May 26.
This event – in its fifth year – will feature three guest speakers. In addition to Dr. Hister, there will be Maureen McGrath, a registered nurse in the area of sexual health and Dr. Erin Rurak, a licenced naturopathic physician.
As well as the expert advice, the expo features more than 25 information booths, offering information about products, services, and non-profit organizations.
This is a free event being held at Timms, 20399 Douglas Cres., from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
