Mounties are on the hunt for a man who attempted to sexually assault a woman in Cedar Hills last week.
Surrey RCMP are appealing for public assistance in finding a black male who attempted to sexually assault a woman in the area of 128 Street and 96 Avenue at 4:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 29.
The woman in her 40s was binning for clothing in the rear of a local business when she was approached by an unknown man.
The man attempted to sexually assault her before being scared away by a pedestrian in the area. The encounter left her emotionally shaken, but physically unharmed.
The suspect is described as a clean shaven black male, 5’9” with slender build and described as having wide set big eyes. He was wearing a dark toque and light coloured pants.
