It’s fall fair time again, and organizer Linda Louis is pumped! “It’s really full this year, we just have a lot of different vendors, a lot more enthusiasm,” she told us Monday morning. Linda noted that Crystal Cabin is doing an agate judging, Marg Parker is doing food for the Europe trip, “it’s just different things this year.” As well, Linda says the Tlell honey lady will be doing a demonstration in the main hall, although she didn’t know what the demonstration involves. “I just left it up to her,” Linda said. The day starts as usual at 10 am with the intro and opening ceremony, and continues to 5:30 pm. The fair includes the farmers’ market, exhibits and entertainment. This year. Valdy is bringing his backup musician Karel Roessingh, who has written music for TV and movies, and led bands for Howie Mandel, Shari Lewis and Lambchop and Bob Newhart. As well, Ish Da Fish is back to entertain the kids. He’s just been nominated best children’s entertainer in western Canada, and The Jefferson’s, made up of Paul Jefferson and Lisa Brokop will be back. The fair runs all day Sunday at the fair grounds in Tlell. Don’t miss it!
