Family and friends concerned for Penticton man missing since March 1

Quia Birch, 25, may be heading to the Lower Mainland

The Penticton RCMP is requesting the public’s assistance in locating, Quia Birch, 25, of Penticton. He was last seen on March 1, and is may have travelled to the Lower Mainland.

As RCMP continue to try and locate Mr. Birch, they’re asking the public to watch for him and report any sightings.

“Police, along with family and friends of Mr. Birch, are all concerned for his well-being. We don’t believe any foul play is involved, or that he’s in imminent danger. However, we’re wanting to locate and confirm his well-being,” said Const. James Grandy.

Quia is described as Caucasian, 5’11” tall (182 cm), weighing 175 lbs., with short, brown hair and brown eyes.

He is associated with a 2008 Dodge Dakota, grey in colour with British Columbia licence plate LY7530.

Penticton RCMP requests that anyone with information on the whereabouts of Quia Birch, contact them at 250-492-4300, or call 911.
