Family concerned for safety and well-being of missing man in Nanaimo

Jordan Dyer, 39, was last seen by Nanaimo RCMP in early May

The Nanaimo RCMP is asking for the public’s help to find a 39-year-old man whose family is concerned for his safety and well-being.

Jordan Dyer has not had contact with his family, who lives out of province, since February, according to a Nanaimo RCMP press release.

“They said that Dyer lives a transient style lifestyle and they believe he may be involved in the drug culture of Nanaimo,” the release noted.

Dyer is Caucasian, 5-foot-11, 200 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes. He was last seen by police May 8 in downtown Nanaimo, however, there has been no further contact.

Anyone who knows of his whereabouts is asked to contact the Nanaimo RCMP non-emergency line at 250-754-2345, and quote file No. 2021-19298.
