The Agassiz Farm Fresh Market has started up again for the spring and summer.
Every Thursday, vendors gather in the parking lot between Jack’s and The Observer on Pioneer Avenue.
This is the second year of the farmers’ market, which is open solely to sellers who make, bake or grow their own products. The market is also open to junior vendors — those under 18 years of age whose products falls under the same guidelines as the regular vendors. Junior vendors under 12 must be accompanied by a parent, and all junior vendors are expected to handle customer service, sales and general marketing of their products. They must have either personally produced their product or have been significantly involved in production. One stall is available for junior vendors, free of charge, each week. That stall can be shared by up to three junior vendors and is available on a first come, first served basis.
Hours are 3 a.m. to 6 p.m., and the market will operate each week until September 1.
