Female suspect sought in Pitt Meadows assault

Female suspect sought in Pitt Meadows assault

Ridge Meadows RCMP are looking for witnesses to a serious assault that occurred in Pitt Meadows, sending a man to hospital.

The assault took place Friday, Jan. 13, between 9:30 and 11 p.m., in Harris Road Park, behind Pitt Meadows Heritage Hall.

Police said a man was assaulted.

“The victim’s injuries were severe enough that he was taken to hospital,” said Sgt. Brenda Gresiuk.

The suspect is a Caucasian female with a heavy build. She was wearing dark clothing at the time.
