On February 13, Jim Booth, president of the Fernie Seniors Centre and Anita Mitchell, treasurer of the Fernie Seniors Centre presented Angel Flight president Brent Bidston with a cheque for $500.

“The community has been very generous to us as a senior’s centre,” Booth said. “So we like to give back to that community wherever we can and we think that Angel Flight is something, an organization that will be beneficial not only to our members but to the Elk Valley in general.”
