Retiring Abbotsford Police Deputy Chief Rick Lucy’s final ceremonial inspection was held Tuesday at Thunderbird Memorial Square.

Lucy announced his retirement last month from the Abbotsford Police Department after 33 years.

He will now be moving on to become the adviser on policing and public safety with the Windhoek City Police in Namibia, Africa.
