The Columbia Valley Pioneer is reporting that a fire broke out at the Columbia Lake Technology Centre site last night.
Canal Flats CAO Adrian Bergles says the City can confirm there was a fire overnight.
“The fire deparment responded and the fire is out,” Bergles said. “We have no other comment at this point.”
The Pioneer also reports that social media comments suggest it was two buildings that went up in flames, including the old planer building.
