Officials are still investigating the cause of a structure fire in Honeymoon Bay last Wednesday.
On Nov. 9 at 4:30 a.m. the fire department was called to the scene of a fire at the former gas station on South Shore Road in Honeymoon Bay.
Fire chief Raymond Wear could not confirm the cause of the blaze.
“The only thing I can say right now is that it’s still under investigation,” he said.
There was no visible damage to the exterior of the building.
“Nobody was hurt, that was the main thing. Everybody came home safe.”
