No word yet on what caused an abandoned outbuilding to go up in flames in Willoughby Sunday night.
Township firefighters were called out to a Willoughby property around 11 p.m., where a large outbuilding was already engulfed in flames.
Firefighters arrived to the property in the 20500 block of 69 Avenue, after multiple calls from nearby residents who saw the fire or smelled it.
The property is in an area slated for development. The large home on the property is not lived in. It appears the fire didn’t spread to the house. But the garage/shop was completely destroyed by the fire.
No word yet on what caused the blaze. More information to come.
