The senior girls team played very well in their games last weekend in Quesnel.

First game was a loss by four points to a very strong Correlieu team but it was very close until late in the fourth quarter. Brooke Palfenier led the team with 19 pts and was 9 for 10 from the free-throw line.

Unfortunately Taylor deSousa turned her ankle in that game and was not available for the rest of the tournament. Second game was 47-38 for Williams Lake, much closer than when they lost to them by 30 points last week. They were within four points in the 4th quarter until they missed a couple of layups. Janelle Lapointe led the team with 18 points and Brooke had 12.

Final game was a win 55-31 against Kelly Road. Janelle had 15 points Brooke had 10 and Monique Lemire scored eight. Monique was chosen as the Most Inspirational player for the team for her hard work on defense and her rebounding. She made 38 rebound scores in the three games.
