A flipped truck in the median of Highway 1 in Abbotsford slowed traffic in the area on Friday morning.
The accident occurred at about 10:45 a.m. just east of the Highway 11/Sumas Way off-ramp. A Chevy pickup truck, which was pulling a load of wood trusses, ended up on its roof.
The driver of the truck was able to exit the vehicle without emergency help.
Initial reports indicate a semi-trailer was also involved in the incident.
Traffic was slowed in both directions, particularly in the eastbound lanes, where emergency crews were on the scene. Abbotsford Police, Abbotsford Fire Rescue Service and BC ambulance were on the scene.
