Castlegar’s Millennium Ponds appeared to be well worth every nickle of the $1.6 million price tag, judging by the joyous crowd cooling down and having fun on August 4.

Music, vendors, dignitaries and just general community good times were the order of the day.

Superlatives were at a premium when it came to describing the new civic feature… part of the ongoing enhancements on the city’s riverfront showplace.
