The CP Holiday Train rolled into Ashcroft earlier this month, much to the delight of young and old. The Ashcroft and Area Food Bank was able to raise 405 lbs of food and $382 in local cash donations and $5,500 from CP Rail. E. Fry manager Yoriko Susanj (and her son, Akira, next to her) accepts the donation from CP Rail.
Food Bank benefits from Holiday Train
Besides the very nice donation from CP Rail, local residents donated food and cash to the food bank while the Holiday Train was in Ashcroft.
