It was that time of year again on Nov. 25 as hundreds of spectators came out to catch yet another glimpse of the man in red.

About 18 brightly lit floats filled downtown Fort St. James as kids cheered catching candies from each one that passed.

It was cold crisp night complete with a warm bonfire at Spirt Square as floats made their way by.

And yes, at the end, a wave from Jolly Old St. Nick filled the night with some good old fashioned Christmas spirit and festive fun.

Prizes were awarded to the three top three floats on behalf of The Chamber of Commerce and sponsored by: Newland Enterprises.

The winners were:

1st place – Ouellette Bros.

2nd prize – Newland Enterprises Ltd.

3rd Prize – Ubleis Logging Ltd.
