The proposal for a 20-unit supportive housing project for homeless men by Abbotsford Community Services (ACS) will be discussed at a public forum Friday evening.

The forum, titled “Everybody Wins: positive and affordable solutions to Abbotsford’s homelessness challenge,” will be held Nov. 15 from 7 to 9 p.m. in Building B, Room 101 at the University of the Fraser Valley in Abbotsford.

The event will feature a keynote speech from Abbotsford South MLA Darryl Plecas.

It will also feature representatives including Chilliwack Mayor Sharon Gaetz, and representatives from BC Housing, ACS, the Abbotsford Downtown Business Association, the Abbotsford Christian Leaders Network and the Abbotsford Social Development Advisory Committee.

The event will feature speeches by various representatives and a 30-minute question and answer period.
