Fourth Avenue North is closed between Borland and Proctor street because of sidewalk reconstruction and road resurfacing.
The block will remain open at the Borland Street end for local traffic.
Work continues in that area as the new Vantage Living 72-care-bed facility is being built with many local contractors at the site.
