After over a year of work, renovations to Fourth Street are in the final stages.
The last two weeks have seen the street paved and hydro-sealed.
Public Works Superintendent Paul Carver says there’s still some cleaning up to do.
He added that the project has been so lengthy due to a number of upgrades below the surface of the road.
“There’s so much stuff here that people can’t see…because of course the road has changed in elevation and in width.
“There’s also the underground upgrades such as water mains and sewer systems,” he said.
“But we’re getting very near completion now.”
