The Fraser Institute announced Friday it has launched Fraser Forum, a blog featuring commentary and analysis from a wide range of policy experts.

The blog, available at www.fraserforum.org and via the institute’s redesigned website at www.fraserinstitute.org, targets topics such as energy, the environment, health care, government spending and taxes, aboriginal issues, education and much more.

Recent posts include a breakdown of Alberta’s true environmental record (despite what Premier Rachel Notley says). And the top three economic issues in the current federal election, as prescribed by the institute’s experts.

Regular contributors include Kenneth Green, resident expert on natural resources and the environment, Charles Lammam, head of fiscal studies at the institute, Bacchus Barua, health policy expert, Ravina Bains, director of aboriginal policy studies, and Deani Van Pelt, the Fraser Institute’s education expert.

Joining the in-house contributors are a host of Fraser Institute senior fellows including William Watson, McGill economics professor and National Post contributor, and Livio Di Matteo from Lakehead University in Ontario.

In addition to Canadian policy topics, regular contributors from south of the border will provide analysis and commentary on pertinent U.S. issues from a Canadian perspective.

And finally, a handful of regular contributors will blog about the arts—with economics and public policy in mind.
