This year’s Fraser Valley First Night New Year’s Eve celebration drew a crowd of over 2,500 to Tradex in Abbotsford.
The event included live entertainment, a number of unique bouncy castles, face painting, mini-golf, curling and West Coast Amusements carnival rides.
A balloon drop for families was held at 9 p.m. (to coincide with the New Year’s arriving on Canada’s east coast).
A fireworks display topped off the activities at midnight. Organizers stated they were very happy with this year’s event and looked forward to growing the celebration next year.
