Fraser Valley food show features best of the Valley

Show runs Saturday and Sunday at Tradex in Abbotsford

The Fraser Valley Food Show is showcasing food and cooking at the Tradex Exhibition Centre in Abbotsford, B.C.

The show features both local and international food, celebrity chef demonstrations, cooking competitions, sausage making competitions, cheese and wine seminars, Bite of the Valley participating restaurants and the Grapes and Hops wine/beer/spirits tasting pavilion.

Throughout the three days of the show The Celebrity Stage will feature TV celebrities and featured presentations.

Chefs of favorite restaurants from in and around the Valley will serve up appetizer portions of their signature recipe, for  between $1 and $4.

Visitors to the Fraser Valley Food Show will especially enjoy the variety of locally grown and produced specialty food items that are not usually found in grocery stores and supermarkets.

The show will also feature the Gluten-Free Living Show for  people seeking gluten-free products.

The show runs Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Admission is $9 for adults, $7 for seniors, $5 for youth 13 to 16 and free for children under twelve.
