Over four days, an unknown woman managed to steal almost $40,000 from the bank account of a Langley resident, police say.
The fraud took place at multiple banks in Mission, Richmond, and Langley between April 14 and 17, said Cpl. Holly Largy.
Police released a photo of the suspect this week and are asking for public help in identifying her.
The suspect managed to impersonate the real account holder, Largy said.
Police did not say how the woman came into possession of the victim’s banking information.
