Public transit around Kitimat will be free on Oct. 24, as part of election day service.
The District of Kitimat and BC Transit are providing free transit in the Kitimat Transit System all day on routes 1 Whitesail, 2 Nechako, 3 Kildala, 4 Crosstown and handyDART services. Free transit will also be available on routes in the Skeena Regional Transit System.
