Freedom of the City recipients Ted Kelly, left, and Ray Brookbank join Nanaimo Mayor Bill McKay and others for a look at the Freedom of the City portrait gallery, which was unveiled in the Vancouver Island Conference Centre outside of Nanaimo City Council chambers last week.
The gallery displays images of Nanaimo’s Freemen dating back to 1940.
