Freezing rain warning in effect for Terrace

Environment Canada has issued an alert

Environment Canada has issued a freezing rain warning in effect for the Terrace area this afternoon.

Periods of freezing rain are expected to continue through this afternoon throughout the North Coast and inland before changing to snow this evening.

Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become icy and slippery. It’s advised to take extra care when walking or driving during the warning.
