Cyclist passed away in hospital after a crash in Mission

A GoFundMe page has been set up in memory of a cyclist who passed away after an accident last week.

Cameron Underhill was injured in a crash Tuesday, Aug. 15 in Mission and has since died in hospital.

He was airlifted to hospital after losing control of his bicycle and crashing at about 9 a.m. in the area of First Avenue and Murray Street.

Nobody else was involved in the accident.

Police have not released any further details on the incident.

According to the GoFundMe page, friends of Underhill and his fiancé Amanda Treanor, are raising money to help with unexpected expenses associated with the devastating loss.

The web page says that Underhill is leaving behind his fiancé, two-year-old son and a baby girl who is due in November.
