Fun way to get initiated into volunteering

Gennext Kelowna to stage timeDrive event to help match up potential volunteers with non profit organizations sharing mutual interests.

If you’re looking for a chance to have fun, network and find a way to get involved in the local community, then timeDrive should be on your radar.

Gennext Kelowna will host local NPO’s (Non-Profit Organizations) at the Laurel Packinghouse on Thursday, May 14, from 5:30 to 8 p.m.

Participants will have the chance to pledge volunteer hours to NPOs of your choosing, win prizes and make an impact in the Okanagan Valley.

Gennext is proud to help young professionals and local organizations get connected at the timeDrive. the NPOs will present information about their organization, as well as the types of volunteer positions that are needed.

Attendees will have the opportunity to pledge an amount of their time over the following year to the organization of their choosing.

Prizes will be awarded to those who pledge and complete the greatest amount of time.

Beverages will be provided by Squeezed Wines, Tree Brewing and Okanagan Spirits, with an after party to follow at the Curious Artistry and Alchemy.
