A house fire occurred about 9 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 14. at a residence on the corner of Third Avenue and Willow Street. There was significant damage and the renter did not have insurance. A fundraiser was held at the Silver Fox Pub and Bistro on Dec. 19 and donation jars can be found at the pub and at Liquid Hair Salon.
