Submitted article–On Sat. July 21st the Masset Legion will be holding a dinner/fundraiser/raffle/auction for Bruce Stewart-Burton and Adele Cole. Everyone is welcome! Raffle prize is a round trip to Sandspit for four people and a gourmet picnic basket courtesy (and thank you very much) of Helijet. Tickets are $5.00 and available at Hidden Island or by calling 626-5286.Other auction items have been donated by caring friends and include jewellery, pottery, artwork, and clothing. The auction will be held on the evening of the dinner and raffle tickets for the Helijet trip may be purchased at anytime. The trip winner will be announced at the Legion dinner. Dinner will be $20.00 and serving Richardson Ranch sirloin roasts, South Beach Gardens organic roast chicken (with stuffing), corn on the cobb, baked potatoes.
