After two years in the making, the Cariboo Regional District’s (CRD) 10-year Solid Waste Management Plan was approved in principle
by the board on July 12.
The plan includes a phased-in approach over the next decade for changes to waste and recycling services, including adding staff and restricted access hours at several garbage sites, including five in the
South Cariboo, by 2014.
