The bright colour of a single flower can often bring joy to those that see it. For Sarah Foster, it is the thousands and thousands of flowers that bring a smile to her face on her daily walk through Oak Bay.
On the corner of Beach Drive and Dalhousie Street sits a house that stands out from the rest.
The yard and the house are adorned with multitudes of flower beds and hanging baskets brimming with flowers.
“It makes me feel so great every time I go past there,” said Foster. “My husband passed away five years ago, and that was one of his favourite places to go and look.”
Foster said she appreciates how the flower display changes with every season, and looks forward to seeing what it will look like in the fall.
