A gas leak that began around 5:00 p.m. on Fifth Street SE shut down part of that street, as well as Auto Road, for just under a half hour in Salmon Arm.
Emergency crews responded to the scene and quickly fixed the leak while fire crews blocked entrances to Auto Road.
Auto Road is now open and there is no risk to the public from the leak.
