To help kick-off SunFest on May 31, the Downtown Castlegar Branch of Kootenay Savings, along with Kal-Tire, hosted a fundraising BBQ at the branch.  Thanks to the added attention of Kal-Tire’s one-of-a-kind Kal-BQ and delicious burgers and dogs from M&M Meat Shops, food was flying off the grill, helping raise $1,075 for the Community Harvest Food Bank!

Employees from the branch recently presented the Community Harvest Food Bank’s Deb McIntosh with the donation.
