A fire at the Ginza Restaurant tonight produced a considerable amount of fire and smoke damage but firefighters were able to prevent it from spreading to neighbouring businesses.
There were no injuries, as the restaurant was closed at the time. The fire started in the kitchen area, but the cause is unknown at this time.
