Go team go: Southgate School students and staff were out in force in their Canucks colours in celebration of the first game of the Stanley Cup finals. Everyday during the playoffs has been “Jersey Day” at the school with students and staff wearing their favourite Canucks’ jersey to cheer on the team. On Wednesday, students and staff gathered in the “Canucks Ville” hallway to show their support. However, in keeping with the tradition of public education being an inclusive education, there is also a Boston Bruins fan amongst the crowd. Can you spot him? They’re not the only ones in Campbell River with Canucks Fever, see page A3 for more pictures.
