$15,000 of $20,000 goal reached in less than 24 hours

Support is pouring in for a family involved in a fatal crash north of Williams Lake Monday, Sept. 24.

The creator of a GoFundMe campaign said the Shreve-Hein family has suffered the loss of their 9-year-old son, Masen, and father and husband, Cody.

“No words can express the devastation to this young family. Leanna is left to raise their other young sons Daylyn and Aaron as well as deal with this traumatic event that has changed their lives forever.”

Almost $18,000 has been raised of the $30,000 goal since Tuesday.

The family was travelling northbound in a Toyota SUV when the vehicle was hit head-on by a lone male driver in a pickup truck that crossed the centre line while southbound.

His truck was also sideswiped a second pickup truck that was following the SUV northbound.
