The Golden Arena season is almost over, and the Town of Golden Recreation Department is looking for some feedback on the past year of operations.

“The Town of Golden Recreation Department has recently launched an arena specific all users survey,” said Jordan Petrovics, manager of recreation services.

“Similar to the survey project conducted with swimming pool users last summer, the arena survey is intended to give all of our arena users a chance to voice their opinions about the facility.”

The online survey, on Survey Monkey, is open to all members of the public who want to have their say. It will take about five to 10 minutes to complete, and will provide the Town with valuable information to improve operations.

“The data collected will help the recreation department further understand the needs and desires of our users, and identify topics of discussion for future programming, user group partnerships, and other opportunities. A summary of the data collected will be provided to the arena advisory board, and Town council in the fall,” said Petrovics.

The survey will ask what programs (both on ice and in the lounge) your family participates in, and how often, as well as your priorities and level of satisfaction with programming and operations.

The scheduled shut down date for the arena is March 24, however that is also dependant on the Golden Rockets playoff run.
