According to DriveBC, Highway 1 just east of Golden between Beaverfoot Rd and Field is affected by compact snow, causing slippery sections along the stretch of road.
Heading west closer to Revelstoke between the eastern boundary of Mount Revelstoke National Park and Glacier National Park, watch for slippery sections as well.
Apart from that, it’s smoothing sailing in and around Golden for those travelling the highways today.
