When travelling along Highway 1 in either direction through Golden, be wary of slippery sections due to compact snow and slush according to DriveBC, starting just east of Golden at the western boundary of Yoho National Park and extending to the Lanark Snowshed just east of Revelstoke.
Heading south on Highway 95, watch for slippery sections as well between Golden and Radium.
