DriveBC reports slippery sections travelling east out of Golden, between Beaverfoot Rd and the B.C./Alberta border. Watch for compact snow.
Snow is affecting visibility between Emerald Lake Rd and the border. Drive with caution.
Slippery driving conditions continue heading west along the highway as well, with the slick road ways extending from Golden to Canyon Hot Springs.
Avalanche control work between the western boundary of Glacier National Park and Beaver Valley Rd, as well as between Illecilewaet Brake Check and Hemlock Grove Boardwalk has closed the road, with the closure expected to last at least two hours. There will be an update at 3 p.m. MST.
DriveBC has nothing to report for those travelling along Highway 95 towards Radium.
