The setting sun turns the western sky to gold in this stunning photograph taken from Trophy Mountain recently. Local resident Ken Matheson was giving survival training to RCMP radio technicians. 'It was one of the most amazing sunsets I've ever seen,' he said. Matheson has been teaching radio techs how to dig snow caves and stay alive in frigid weather for about 20 years. The program began when two techs were stranded overnight on top of a mountain in northern B.C. in -40C weather.
