1. Weather outlook: Did you get out and see the Supermoon last night. There was some high cloud to make it a bit fuzzy in the Okanagan, but it was spectacular. This morning it’s wet out there, but the sun should show in the afternoon with temperatures slowly creeping up to 7 C by 1 p.m. Upper elevations have snow with Big White expecting three to seven cm. On the Coquihalla Connector Hwy 97C, there’s snow from Brenda Mine through Pennask Summit and Aspen Grove.
2. Crime: RCMP wants your help in finding out who shot at South Rutland Elementary School over the weekend. A metal shutter covering the outside of a window at the back of the school was damaged by shots from a small calibre firearm. 3. The city: A few inner-city neighbourhoods will soon have four houses in one. Kelowna city council is taking the steps to approve two smaller than normal sized houses as well as two carriage houses being built on a regular-sized city lot. The boost to housing density will created more much needed housing and improve option available.
4. Something to do this evening: Design is shaking up how business is done. Watch the film Design Disruptors, 7 p.m. at the Black Box Theatre behind the Community Theatre, to see how billions of dollars are being freed from the economy by design.
5. Something innovative: Take in some experimental music with Craig Thomson and Yves Charuest, 8 p.m. at the Alternator, inside the Rotary Centre for the Arts, 421 Cawston.
