Good morning Kelowna, for Tuesday Nov. 22, 2016

Here are some great things we have to look forward to today.

Good morning Kelowna, for Tuesday Nov. 22, 2016

1. Weather outlook: The weather office is calling for a 70 per cent chance of no rain in the late afternoon. It will be breezy, with gusts from 20 to 40 km/h.

2. Stories we’re covering today: Despite the majority admitting to being the worst winter drivers in the nation in a new BCAA survey conducted by Insights West, B.C. drivers are taking little action to prepare for bad weather.

3. Find your inspiration: Marty Edwards has a great voice and just happens to look like Kenny Rogers. And he’s got a very important story to tell.

4. Something to do today: Do you have a toddler? Take them to Story Time at EECO, at Springfield and Durnin. 10 a.m. this and every Tuesday morning.

5. Get your art on: Lake Country’s affordable art show and shop is back. The annual Under 100 exhibition of small art work by Okanagan artists is at the Lake Country Art Gallery, 10356A Bottom Wood Lake Road until Dec. 21. Great gift ideas. When was the last time you paid a visit to Lake Country?

6. A way to give back: All year long is the right time to become a regular blood donor. There’s a clinic today in Kelowna at 103-1865 Dilworth Drive. It’s in you to give.
